Privacy Policy

Papira · Kovenza (Choi Jiuk Development Lab) · Effective August 28, 2026

The short version: your photos never leave your iPhone. Papira turns a photo into a colouring page entirely on the device — there is no upload, no server, and no account. We cannot see your photos or your artwork, because they are never sent to us.

1. What we do not collect

Papira contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking of any kind. We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to sign in to. We do not collect your name, e-mail address, contacts, location or device identifiers for advertising.

2. Photos

When you tap Create from Photo, iOS shows Apple's system photo picker. That picker runs outside the app: Papira receives only the single image you choose, and never gains access to the rest of your library.

The chosen photo is converted into a line drawing on your device, using an on-device machine-learning model bundled inside the app. No image data is transmitted anywhere at any point. The photo, the generated colouring page and your colouring progress are stored only in Papira's private storage on your iPhone, and are removed when you delete the app.

3. What stays on your device

Papira stores the following locally, and only locally: your saved colouring pages and artwork, your fill progress and undo history, your settings (sound, night mode, comfort mode, auto-advance), and a count of how many free conversions you have used. The free-use count is kept in the iOS Keychain so that it survives reinstalling the app.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and one-time pack purchases are processed by Apple. We never see or handle your payment details.

To know whether a purchase is valid, Papira uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., United States) as a purchase-validation service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier together with the purchase receipt and basic device and app-version information. It does not receive your Apple ID, your name, your e-mail address, your photos or your artwork. Because Papira has no accounts, that identifier is not linked to any real-world identity.

RevenueCat's own privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple's: apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Cross-border processing

The only data that leaves your device is the purchase information described in section 4, which is processed by RevenueCat, Inc. in the United States for as long as your purchase history needs to be verifiable. Nothing else is transferred abroad, because nothing else is transferred at all.

6. Children

Papira is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, a child using it on a parent's device is not identifiable to us.

7. Your choices and rights

You can delete everything Papira holds by deleting the app; all local data goes with it. To manage or cancel a subscription, open the iOS Settings app → your Apple Account → Subscriptions.

Under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA you may ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. In practice we hold no data that identifies you; if you have made a purchase and want the associated anonymous record removed, write to support@kovenza.app and we will handle it within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, where the change affects how the app behaves, note it in the app's release notes. This version is effective from August 28, 2026.
